Welcome to my LJ! This Livejournal will list various encouters that I've come across throughout my adventures in Final Fantasy XI. My character's name is Elinore, whom resides on Garuda server. I used to mainly post about my linkshell's achievements and accomplishments, but that has grown old as Final Fantasy XI's endgame does not provide much challenge to alot of HNMLS's out there. So you'll most likely read about my thoughts on certain things in FFXI as well as my experience with various jobs that I've played as.
I started playing FFXI about 6 months after NA release with 2 of my real life friends, Jianster and Unmask. Neither of them still play =/ Seeing how I leveled extremely slowly (lolthf), I haven't experienced the endgame content as frequently as others. My first dream job was Ranger. I started leveling Thief to 45 in order to obtain Treasure Hunter II to farm to fund ammunition for my upcoming Ranger. But, in the end, I fell in love with the job and took it all the way to 75 with my best friends. This was one of the best times I've had in FFXI.
In May, 2005, I've joined what became to be one of the best HNMLS on Garuda, EvilDeedsInc, and I'm grateful to be in there. As for our accomplishment, we've killed everything in game besides Absolute Virtue and that Orc King NM that drops Juggernaut (lol). We were also the first NAs, along with the members of ex-HNMLS Persistence, to obtain Dynamis-Beaucedine and Dynamis Xarcabard access. On June 29th, 2005, we became the first NAs to successfully beat Dynamis Lord. It might sound braggy, but I'm proud of our success ._. So please understand haha.
My personal accomplishment? Hm.. That would have to be claiming 90+ Leaping Lizzys only to get 7 boots to drop. Going rate for these boots were only 300k back then ; ; But, on the bright side, I've had 1.2 million gils on myself at one point as a level 22 Ranger being my highest job! At this point, IGE was selling 2M gils for $800 haha.

As of December 11, 2006, I am 75 THF, BLM, WHM, and DRK. As for lv37+ subs, I have RDM, SMN, WAR, PLD, RNG, and NIN.
As for merits, I'm a little gimp.
THF upgrades - 5 Triple Attack, 3 Assassin's Charge, 2 Feint, and 1 Aura Steal
BLM upgrades - 5 Thunder potency, 1 Ice potency, 1 Burst II
Combat skill upgrades - 8 Dagger and 4 evasion
Magic skill upgrades - 8 elemental
HP/MP upgrades - 1 MP
Other upgrades - 4 Critical Hit Rate
